Aftercare

Thank you for choosing Permanently Defined Permanent Make Up by Stacey Cox.

It is especially important you follow the after care advice given to make sure you get the best possible results once healed.

Remember do not use any rough towels, or abrasive products and avoid any heat treatments such as saunas and steam rooms. You need to keep the treated area as dry as possible.

SCALP MICROPIGMENTATION

Days 1 to 3 – Whilst it is an open wound, it shouldn’t
weep or bleed but none the less, it can still be prone to
infection.

Days 1 to 5 – No gym, exercise, physical exertion,
NO SWEATING, no head shaving or washing (if you
accidentally get it wet, just pat don’t rub), avoid wearing
headwear (there is a very large amount of bacteria in a
used hat), sleep on a clean pillow case and bedding.

Days 3 to 5 – Skins starting to heal and can start to feel a
little dry and itchy. Do not scratch it, you can risk pulling
pigment out and cause minute scarring.

Days 6 to 7 – You can now clipper your hair! However, work
extremely lightly and avoid going against the grain. You
may also wash your hair gently with a pH neutral or baby
shampoo. You may also use a little 100% coconut oil if it
is feeling a little dry.

Days 7 to 10 – Your colour should start to lighten which is
what we like it to do in readiness for the second session.
